Born in Gdynia. Film director and editor.

Andrzej Święch earned his MA in English Philology and wrote his Master’s thesis on Woody Allen’s flms.

He later studied film editing and film directing at the Warsaw Film School.

His documentary debut film “Grandpa” has been in the programs of a variety of film festivals in Poland and abroad. Currently “Grandpa” is being screened at movie theaters in Poland as a part of special movie set Stary Człowiek i Może.

His live-action debut “Place Cards” has been shown all around the globe, bringing back awards from South Korea, Germany and United States. This November the movie will be screened at Academy Award qualifing Oscar® 35th Chicacgo International Children’s Film Festival.

Andrzej’s intrests are cinema history, theology and football.

He currently works on two documentary films.
